In loving memory of Alfonso Lupe, known as "Munch", Alfonso was a giving and loving person. He was a jokester and enjoyed bringing laughter to his family and friends.

He was a champion cowboy in his younger years. He always wanted to team rope one last time, which he did on May 9, 2009. Alfonso worked at the Fort Apache Timber Company for many years. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Munch will be escorted home by the White Mountain Cowboys on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:00 A.M.. This will begin the two night wake at the residence of Jessie Tenijieth in Canyon Day, Arizona. All cowboys are encouraged to be part of the escort. (Cowboys meet at the cattle guard entrance into the Canyon Day loop.)

Pina; mother, Dena Lupe; brothers, John Lupe, Harry Lupe, Aloysis Lupe; sisters, Veronica (Gordon) Leslie, Ida Rose (Fred) Cosay; and many relatives and friends.
