Mrs. A.M. Taylor (Elsie Leona Riley)
Born: August 12, 1885
Died Nov. 10, 1938, 9:15 a.m.,age: 53 years, 2 months, 28 days, Services to be held at the Methodist Church at Dryden, Oklahoma, at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 1938. Rev. J.N. Bryan officiating, Interment will be in Dryden Cemetery.
Parents:
Father: Paul George Riley
Mother: Nelson M. Anderson
She married Albert M. Taylor Sunday, Oct. 16, 1904 in a covered Wagon in Tira, Hopkins County, Texas.
When Elsie was so sick and having hallucinations before she died - she said to her husband Albert: "Albert, go and get the boys off the roof, they are going to go to war." It seems strange that she made that remark with World War II only a short time later. [don't know why she thought they were on the roof].
