Charles Bingle, 81, of Rochester, died at 9:20 p.m. WEdnesday at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, where he was a patient.
Born Aug. 8, 1922, in Cleves, Ohio, to Orville and Zettie Peak Bingle, he lived in the Rochester area since 1960. He moved here from Miami County. He retired from Torx Camcar Corp., Rochester, in 1988 after 17 years of service.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Argos, and was active with the Fulton County Retired Senior Volunteer Program. He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran of the Pacific Theater. He was stationed in the Philippines.
His burial will be at Richland Center IOOF Cemetery, northwest of Rochester, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts will conduct military graveside rites.
