Prominent Chicago Automobile Man Died Yesterday Following Auto Accident - Married Rockford Woman
Edward R. Lightcap, for many years one of Chicago's most prominent automobile men, president of the Federal Motor Truck Co., passed away yesterday at his home in Chicago at the age of forty-nine years from pneumonia, caused by being thrown against the front seat of his automobile when his chauffeur stopped the machine suddenly.
Mr. Lightcap was united in marriage here twenty-five years ago to Miss Lena Lincoln, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lincoln, who survives him. The remains will arrive here at 5:15 o'clock Wednesday evening over the Illinois Central railroad, and will be taken directly to the west side cemetery, where Rev. Charles Parker Connolly will conduct the funeral services.
