DOROTHY S. ALEXANDER, 79, of Houston died Monday, the 13th of December 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Alexander was born on the 21st of August 1925 to Lillie Doerr Schraub and Alfred Schraub in Cibolo, Texas. Mrs. Alexander spent many years teaching at Johnston Junior High School where she touched many lives. She was an avid golfer who served two terms as the President of the Pine Forest Country Club's Women's Club and was very active within First Presbyterian Church. However, she was best known for her leadership style and her willingness to do her part. She also enjoyed China painting. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Harold C. Alexander, her children, Beverly C. Whitworth, Linda Alexander, Bill C. Alexander, Jean Marie, Dan J. Alexander, 6 grandchildren, as well as several other relatives. A memorial service will be conducted at half past two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 16th of December 2004 at the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main in Houston, with The Rev. Asa Hunt officiating.
