A memorial service was held at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Mr. Roy Fuselier, 84 of Crowley on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 10: a.m. to 12 p.m.. Services were conducted by Rev. Louis Alvarez.
Fuselier died at 9:25 a.m. , Sunday November 26, 2006 in Crowley's American Legion Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Fuselier, Crowley, four sons, Shelton Fuselier, Gueydan, Dale Fuselier, Mermentau, Alfred Fuselier, Rayne, and Carl Fuselier, Crowley; three daughters, Beverly Benoit, Dequincy, Cheryl Clark, Kaplan, Debrie Guillory, Pensacola, Florida, three step-sons Dallas Breaux, Zwolle, Carol Breaux, Kaplan and Michael Breaux, Youngsville; three step-daughters, Clara Forrestier, Duson; and Shirley Stockley and Susan Breaux of Parks; eighteen grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 21 step-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Fuselier was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Alice Fuselier, one grandson Daniel Guillory, one great-grandson, three brothers Alfred and Lanful Fuselier and one sister Winnie Fuselier.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of services.
