A former baseball scout, Chadwick Wayne Granger, 84, of Madison, Alabama, died at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. He was a former Guntersville resident. He served his country during the Korean War and then in the civil service as a weapons specialist analyst for the U.S. Army. He worked as a baseball scout for the Seattle Mariners, continuing his life- long love of baseball. Mr. Granger is survived by his wife, Frances M. Granger; a son, Victor Granger; daughters, Cindy Gerry and Sandy Scott; grandchildren. Memorial service at Guntersville Memorial Chapel.
