Olean Wayne Gowens, 76, Hokes Bluff, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009. Mr. Gowens graduated from Hokes Bluff High School. He was retired from Meadow Gold Dairy and had been a Mason for many years. Mr. Gowens was preceded in death by his parents, Mancel and Pearl Gowens; and a son, Joel Gowens. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gowens; two sons, Donnie and John; daughter, Carol. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
