Ann Bentley was born in Wellington, Staffordshire, England, the daughter of Arthur Bentley and Annie Harrison. Her father, who had worked as a china packer in Stoke-on-Trent, migrated to Canada arriving 5 Sep 1903. He settled in London, Ontario. Ann arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 18 Jan 1904, with her mother, and they joined her father in London. She married Harold Peach 4 Sep 1920, in Middlesex County, Ontario. They were parents of two sons, Arthur and Stanley. Ann Peach was a musician, serving as organist in several churches in southwestern Ontario and giving piano lessons.
