DAYTON — Carrie B.
Knight, 92, 1117 Third St.,
Dayton, died Monday at
Robison Nursing Home in
Dayton.
The funeral will be at 9:30
a.m. Thursday at Colonial-
DeWitt Funeral Home in Walla
Walla. Graveside services will
be at 11:30 a.m. at the Dayton
City Cemetery.
Mrs. Knight was born March
14, 1884, in Taneytown, Md.,
the daughter of Samuel A. and
Laura Virginia Harnish. She
came to the West in 1915 and on
Dec. 31, 1917, was married to
Michael B. Knight in Central
Christian Church in Walla
Walla. They lived in Dayton a
number of years where her
husband farmed. They moved
to Clarkston in l944.
Knight died in 1947. In 1967
Mrs. Knight moved back to
Dayton where she has since
made her home.
She was a member of the
Methodist Church of Clarkston
and was "Grandma Knight" to
the children of the neighborhood
in Dayton.
She is survived by her
daughters. Olive Rae DeRuwe
and Odetta Mae Brodhead. and
by her son, Donald F. Knight
all of Dayton; six grandchildren
and six greatgrandchildren
