Services for Maude Damron, 82, were held at the Baptist Church at Round Timber. The Damron family lived for several years on the George Malone farm northwest of Seymour, later moving to Round Timber, where some of the family were working most of the time on the Portwood Ranch. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Damron went to Olney to live with her daughter and moved with her to Wichita Falls in 1948. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survived by four sons - C.L., Ernest, Mally and Elmer Damron; three daughters - Mrs. Velma Nichols, Mrs. B.E. Burleson Mrs. Ollie Bankhead.
