Patricia was a member of the Redhat Society. She enjoyed gardening and crafts, including; cross-stitching and macrame. Patricia loved going to casinos with her husband and was an extremely experienced Tetris player.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Alward in 1998 and a grandson, Jacob Miller in 2007.
Survivors include her husband of more than 62 years, Charles Alward; two daughters, Elizabeth Alward and Amy Jo Chaplain and her husband, Brian, all of Erie; two sons, Daniel Alward and his wife, Teresa, of Oil City and Edward Alward and his partner, Denise Miller of Tempe, AZ; two sisters, Lois Wheeler of Linesville and Rita Hayes and her husband, Don, of Edinboro; also five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial of ashes will be in Edinboro Cemetery.
