Bernando Nosie, age 47, passed away May 16, 2009 in Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on July 2, 1961 in San Carlos, AZ to Hines and Glorianna Nosie of San Carlos, AZ. He worked as a forestry tech. for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He worked in the fire prevention program at the Forestry Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He liked helping people and building things for them. Bernando was a jack-of-all-trades. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his parents, his wife Evelyn Nosie of San Carlos, AZ, his daughters Felicia Begay(Byron) of Springerville, AZ, Ernestine Dillon of Peridot, AZ, Tara Moses of Bylas, AZ, Bernanda Ortega(Luke), Alicia Bordy(Tyrone) and Terri Nosie of San Carlos, AZ, his son Jesse Quam of San Carlos, AZ, his brothers Hines Nosie Jr. of Sanders, AZ and Hernandez Nosie of San Carlos, AZ and his sister Susan Kidd of Peridot, AZ.
The wake is on May 31 at 4:00 pm at Bernando Nosie's residence. The service is on June 1 at 2:00 pm at Rice Intermedia School Activity Hall. He will be buried in Northgate Cemetery.
