Son of Benjamin Falkner and Nancy (Unk.). Sibling to: Theresa, James W., Sarah A., Epsey E., John C., Nancy P., William H., and Jeff (Jos) Falkner.

Husband to Mary A. Butler and father to Benjamin A., and Nancy A. Falkner.

Served during the Civil War in the CSA-Army of Northern Virginia, 13th AL Co. E. Among friends, neighbors and kin in this regiment; were his first cousins who were brothers - Benjamin Apling Burdette, Littleton J. Burdette, and Samuel Monroe Burdette.

Corp. Isaac Falkner was killed in action during the Battle of Malvern Hill in Richmond, Virginia.
