OBITUARY

Chalmers Goodwin, 61 ESCONDIDO -- Chalmers Goodwin, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009. He was born October 29, 1947 in Bangor, Maine, son of Chalmers and Guyla Goodwin. Chalmers attended school in Levant, Maine. He retired from Con Electric after 32 years of service. He was an avid trapshooter at Whortikill Rod and Gun Club in Mount Pleasant N.Y. He was also an avid gardener and bowler, with a love of birds. He was also a NASCAR enthusiast. CJ was a warm, loving, and caring man. He was kind and generous man who had a great love for his family. He is survived by his wife of five years, Susan Goodwin; daughter, Kimberly L. Goodwin of Poughkeepsie, NY; step-daughter, Amy Session (Robert Moore) of Escondido; stepson, Christopher Session of Escondido; brothers, C.
Thayne (Skip) Hodgdon of Minot, Maine, and Leonard Hodgdon of Peekskill, NY.; sisters, Faith (Andy) Chase of Brewer, ME, Gulya (Richard) Eaton of Levant, ME., Gail Bagley of Newport, ME., and Thayla (Charles, Sr.) Berry of Gorinth, ME; grandchildren, Charles, Shannon, and Amber of Poughkeepsie, NY.; sister-in-law, Karen C. Goodwin of Escondido; and mother-in-law, Phyllis A. Durham of San
