William was the son of John Hill and Nancy Houston. His daughter, Carrie, signed his death certificate listing both parents. He also had a brother named Tom.

Occupation-Farmer-William and Tommie owned approximately 60 acres on the northeast side of Bonnieville, KY-approximately one quarter mile east of Dixie Highway. Like many farms in the area, tobacco would have been grown as a cash crop. He and Tommie lived many years in the log cabin on the property. They lived several years in Priceville just west of Bonnieville. From what I understand, my grandfather, Mckinley Hill, purchased a home for them a little way from their farm next to the Dixie Highway. This allowed them to spend their waning years in a secure and much more comfortable home. I will have to check Hart County property records to see what happened to the farm and how their new property was purchased.
