Lilly Etta Thurman, 81, Napoleon, died February 5, 2012 at Lafayette Regional Health Center, Lexington (Missouri). She was born February 22, 1930, in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas L. Knotts and Etta M. Reed Knotts.
Mrs. Thurman was employed with Lake City Amunitions Plant for 20 (22) years, retiring in 1985 (1988). She ws a member of St. Paul Church in Napoleon (MO). She was a member of the Women's Fellowship, taught Sunday School and was a choir member.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Elizabeth Richardson (Fairfield,Ohio) and Martha Wolfe (California).
Services were held Wednesday at the church with Pastors Joe Edmund and Howard Campbell officiating; burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers were friends of the church.
Pallbearers: Jerry Beckemeyer, Richard Lohsandt, Kenny Dieckmann, Brian Haase, Larry Dinse, Jim Strodtman. Lunch was provided by the Women's Fellowship of the Church.
