Nicholas Glenn Coon, age 47, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016.

Nick was born to Glenn Coon and Karen Wolfe Coon on January 4, 1969 in San Augustine, Texas.

Nick was a tugboat captain for Savage Towing and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Nick was survived by his wife LaRay Coon of Hemphill, his mother Karen Coon of Hemphill, his sons, Nicolas Aubrey-Ray Coon and Dawson Coon of Hemphill, his brothers Brett Coon and wife Angie of Hemphill and Randy Coon of Houston, his sisters Kimberly Coon of North Carolina, Pattye Coon of Hemphill and Kathy Coon of Houston.

Nick was preceded in death by his sister Leah Coon and his father, Glenn Coin.

Visitation will be from 5~8pm Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Starr Funeral Home located at 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral Services will be at 1pm, Sunday, September 18, 2016 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Bronson Cemetery in Bronson Texas.
