My G-Grandfather

Daniel G. Wise, was born Oct. 26, 1838 in Chester Co., PA to Obediah Wise and Margaret Grove Wise.

Daniel G. Wise enlisted Aug. 1, 1861 at Williamsport; was promoted to Corporal of Co. L, 3rd PA V C 1st Brigl, 1st Cav. Corps., and granted a discharge August 24, 1864 at Philadelphia. Daniel served in battles of Manassas: Yorktown; Williamsburg; Chickahoming River; Savage Station; White Oak Swamp; Malvern Hill; Antietem; and Fredericksburg.
Daniels brother Albert G. Wise, served 4 years also.

Daniel married Hattie Waggoner.

Daniel and Albert came to Lycoming Co., @ 1873.
Comrade Wise was appointed inspector of elections and supervisor, he was a stone mason and a farmer.

Daniel died May 10, 1900 and was buried in Steam Valley Cemetery, Lycoming Co., PA

Daniel G. Wise was the father to my precious Grandfather Raymond M. Wise.
