In the fall of the same year she was moved to the Clarkfield nursing home where she resided until her death, with the exception of four months at the hospital there. On July 31st she came back to the Nursing home where she slipped peacefully away on August 16, 1967. During her long invalidism she was never idle as long as she could use her hands through one was crippled she spent many hours in her favorite hobby, crocheting and other handwork. She also loved to read and was very grateful to the friends who brought her reading material. She also looked forward to each Sunday when the Pastors of Clarkfield conducted services at the Rest home.
