Augusta Rhodes was born in Osnaburg,(now N. Canton) Stark Co., Ohio, to Thomas Rhodes & Malinda (Rabenstine) RHODES. She married Fremont William Oldham, 12 Apr 1886, in Akron, Ohio. They resided at 796 Main St,(now Broadway Ave.) Bedford, Ohio.
They had three children, Ray Fremont Oldham, Fred Wilson Oldham and Edna Oldham, who died as a young child.
Augusta was active in S.N.Winchester Circle 46, Ladies of the G.A.R. in Bedford. In 1913, she was on the committee marking graves, with Milo H. Barnum and W.W. Flick.
Augusta died of cancer, in Cleveland Hospital, Dec 6, 1925. Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, 8 Dec 1925.
