Sergio Endrigo was an Italian singer and songwriter.He was Born in Pula, (then Pola), Friuli Venezia Giulia.He won the Sanremo Music Festival in 1968 with the song "Canzone per te", sung with Roberto Carlos. The same year he rapresented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 1968 with the song "Marianne". Sergio also played as an actor in TV fictions. (1972). He died in 2005 in Roma, Lazio,Italy at the age of 72.
Cause of death: Lung cancer.
