On May 17, 1941 he married Florence Morosco Talerico . She died on Oct. 24, 1991. Florence and Jim had no children of their own. Jim was known for his jolly rash voice. Florence was Mother and Aunt to many neices and nephews."Mr. James V. Talarico, 9 Oatley Ave., Yorkville, entered into rest June 19, 1983. He was born on June 12, 1902 in Old Forge, Pa., son of the late Philomena Mancarusso and Salvatore Talarico. He married Florence Morosco at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, Utica May 17, 1941. He was a construction laborer and he was a member of the Laborers International Union of America Local #35. He retired 15 years ago. He was a parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by two brothers-in-law, Joseph and wife Jennie Morosco of Yorkville, Vic and wife Betty Grasso of Utica; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Rose DeKime, Mrs. Lillian Kallasy, of Utica and Mrs. Mary Talarico of Detroit, Michigan; an aunt, Mrs. Mary Micardi of Utica; several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Hobaica Funeral Home, Inc., 1122 Culver Ave., under the direction of Samuel A. Gigliotti, Funeral Director and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt.
