He was born January 16, 1924 in Frankfort, Indiana to the late John D. & Eva (Talbert) Huffer. He married Ruth Smith on July 1, 1951 at the Forest Methodist Church and she survives.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Huffer of Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Miller in 2000.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m., June 17, 2011, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pastor Jake Fisher will officiate.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
