Mr. Watts was my 6th grade US history teacher. I did very well in his class and it helped prepare me for having to take it again in 8th grade and my junior year. He also co-taught phys. ed. with Mrs. Whiting. It was lots of fun and very unique sharing phys. ed. class with the guys. We learned some square dancing on top of the ordinary things like basketball and volleyball.
Over time I became good friends with his daughter, Gennie. We have remained friends and get together occasionally. I was very saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Mr. Watts. He had seemed to be in good health and looked extremely well at his viewing.
