The handsome cat with captivating green eyes lost his fight with diabetes after several months of improvement and stable health. Paco came to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary as a poorly regulated diabetic cat. Over time we were able to stabilize his diabetes through regular insulin shots and constant care. He improved steadily over time and his outlook was very good. He was doing so well in fact that we decided he was well enough to go back to the normal population of cats at Best Friends where he had a relaxing and care-free life for the remainder of his life, on a special diet. Paco was such a sweet boy with a laid back, easy-going personality. We are all saddened by his passing, but happy that he was able to have a few months of peace and love at the end of his life.
