Born not in Germany, but in the former Germanic province of West Prussia, Wilhelmina Wendt was the wife of Andreas Zillmann and the mother of six known children: Anna Amelia, Bertha, Franz August, Emma, Anna and Laura Marie, all born in Rehden Parish, Landkreis Graudenz [now Radzyn Chelminski, Grudziadz, Poland].

Eventually Wilhelmina and four children immigrated to America. Her husband and two daughters, Anna Amelia and Emma, died in West Prussia.

According to Butte (NE) Funeral Home records, Wilhelmina Zillman [sic] died at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 12 days. Her place of death and residence was Dustin Twp. She was identified as widowed, retired housewife and widow of Andrew [sic] Zillman. Senility was given as the cause of her death. Services were held at 2 p.m., 4 Oct 1921, at the German Cong. Church.

The funeral expense bill for $95.00 was charged to J. H. Bruns. A $40 payment was made by check 3 Oct 1921, $25.00 in cash paid 21 Apr 1922 and the account paid off with a $30.00 check in June 1922.
