Glynn Cline, age 38, of Seminole, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm MST at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church at 1700 E. Yeso Dr in Hobbs, NM. Personal services have been entrusted to Mark A Jones Funeral Directors in Seagraves.

Glynn was born on December 30, 1977 to Robert D. Cline and Cathey Weldy Cline in Hobbs, Lea County, New Mexico. He has lived in the area most of his life.

He loved his children, and spending quality time with them and all his family. His hobbies were fishing and hunting, especially in the Guadalupe Mtns of NM, a favorite family spot for 6 generations. He also loved building projects, constructing decorative metal work, creative writing, including narratives and poetry, as well as drawing and sketching.

Glynn was a plant foreman at J-Cap Mfg. in Seminole. He has worked there for about 5 years. He put others first and was a very affectionate and thoughtful man, always taking care of his fellow workers and family.

Those left to cherish his memory are: A son: Bradley William Cline of Hobbs; two daughters: Emma Ray Cline and Taryn Lynn Cline both of Hobbs; Father and Step-mom: Robert Douglas Cline Sr. and wife Kevyn Cline of Dawson, Texas, and mother Cathey Ann Weldy Cline of Portales, New Mexico; Paternal Grandfather: Dawsie Sebrin Cline of Hobbs; One brother: Robert D. Cline, Jr of Frisco, TX, Step-brother, Justin Oliver of Hobbs; Two sisters: Susan Jennifer Cline Stinson of Hobbs, Linda Kay Cline Hollis of Missouri, and step-sisters Shaynne Dodd of College Station TX and Dakota Dodd of Stevensville TX. He also leaves behind one maternal uncle Bobby Dale Weldy, 5 aunts, Marcella Faye Weldy Ellul, Carolyn Louise Cline (Reyes) Weaver, Patricia Ann Cline Hess, Donna Fay Cline Pilkinton, Linda Diane Cline Jolly, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Glynn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William Edward and Vera Pauline Coggin Weldy, and his paternal grandmother Laura Mae Jones Cline.
