Doris Tarte Todd

CONWAY - age 72, of Pee Dee Highway, went home to be with our Lord, October 15, 2010. She was born November 28, 1937 in Aynor S.C. a daughter of the late Elbert and Flora Parker Tarte.

Mrs. Todd was the retired owner/ operator of Precious Moments in Aynor and worked part time for several years at Salem Day Care. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, were she served for over 30 years as a Sunday school teacher, a Lay Member to the annual conference and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Todd was predeceas-ed by one son, David Russell Todd; one daughter Jackie Todd Stupalsky; One grandson Franklin Barnhill Jr; one granddaughter; Katherine Todd; and one brother Ronnie Tarte.

She is survived by her husband David Jack Todd of the home; one son David Jack Todd II and his wife Jackie of Conway S.C.; one daughter Pam Todd Martin of Aynor S.C.; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Barnhill Swanner and her husband Andrew; Courtney Martin; Justin Martin and his wife Donette; Daryl Graham and his wife Olivia ; Matthew Stupalsky; Miranda Todd; and Lauren Todd, two great-grandchildren, Jackie-Lee Graham; and Marleigh Swanner, a great-grandson expected in February 2011, William David Graham, a very special niece, Vicki Rabon and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday October 17, 2010 at Antioch United Methodist Church with the Rev. George E. Olive and the Rev. James L. Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 7-9 PM Saturday October 16, 2010 The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Kathy Tanner from Mercy Hospice, for her very special care that she gave Mrs. Doris.
