He was born on July 14, 1905 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Elizabeth "Bessie" (Fortner) and Martin Ernest Adamson, Sr. He is a grandson of Levina Ellen (Bennett) and Ellis Nathan Adamson of Ottawa (Franklin Co.), Kansas. He is a great grandson of Amy Jane (Stanley) and Nathan Adamson of Iowa.
He was survived at the time by his parents and by his wife, Leslie (Stone) (Adamson) Buell, and their daughter, Terry Ellen (Adamson) Mann, of San Francisco, California. Their daughter was only an infant at the time - approximately one and one-half years old. Ernest and Leslie were separated at the time of his death. His parents were divorced. He was also survived at the time of his death by a half-brother, Martin Ernest Adamson, Jr., a.k.a. "Binky" and a step-mother Mildred L. (Wightman) Adamson.
Mr. Adamson was employed as a salesman for the A. Schilling Co.
