Services To Be Held Monday
Mrs. Mollie (Melvina) Buse, 81, died December 7, in Fergus Falls. She had been in ailing health for several years.
Mollie Buse was born March 8, 1880, in Fall River mass., the daughter of the late Mose Allard and Modeste Patnode Buse. She came to Red Lake county with her parents at the age of one year. Mollie Buse attended the local schools and on December 23, 1909, she was married to Ernest G. Buse in Red Lake Falls. He preceded her in death in 1938, as did one daughter, Jane, Mrs. Martin Pouliot, in 1959.
Mrs. Buse was a member of the Ladies' Society of St. Anne, St. Joseph's Church, Red Lake Falls, of the Royal Neighbors, and of the local American Legion Auxiliary. She had acted as deputy county clerk of court while her husband was in office.
Survivors include one son, Al Buse, one sister, Mrs. Agnes Paul, Red Lake Falls, and one brother, Joseph Allard, of Bemidji. One granddaughter, three grandsons, and one great granddaughter also survice.
A solemn requiem high Mass will be offered for Mrs. Mollie Buse Monday, Dec. 11, at 8:00 a. m., from St. Joseph's Catholic church, Red Lake Falls, with the Rev. William Keefe officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's cemetery in the spring.
Relatives and friends may call at the Petterson Funeral Home here, Sunday afternoon and evening, beginning at 3 p.m. There will be a recitation of the rosary at 8 o'clock, Sunday evening.
