Helen L. Draper, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. Helen was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her Christian legacy extends to her entire family and is remembered in their devotion to the same faith she held in Christ. Faith, family and friends, her priorities were in order. She fought a good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verdell E. Draper, on July 25, 2002, and by a granddaughter, Sheryl Williams. Survivors: Children, Wilburn Draper and wife, Linda, Willie Williams and husband, Travis, and Brenda Roever and husband, David, all of Fort Worth; sister, Estelle Woodall of Benbrook; brother, J.W. Kennedy and wife, Marcella, of Lawton, Okla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
