Marjorie E. Hubbard, 79, of New Bedford died January 2, 2013 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility after a long illness.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Andrew E. and Marjorie A. (Wikstrom) Hubbard, she lived in Rochester before moving to Dartmouth in 2002.
She was the proprietor of Bellenoit's True Value Hardware Store for many years.
She enjoyed breeding and showing her Schnauzers, playing cards with her friends, playing basketball with the YWCA, bowling and traveling.
Survivors include her 2 brothers, Andrew E. Hubbard and his companion Lorraine Grant of Dartmouth and Karl E. Hubbard and his wife Mary of South Grafton, MA; 2 nieces, Joan-Marie Proulx and Kathleen Hubbard; a nephew, Keith Hubbard; a great-niece, Kelly Proulx and a great-nephew, Dennis Pritchard.
She was the aunt of the late Marianne Pritchard.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Friday, January 11th at 10 AM in the Acushnet Cemetery.
