Joseph John Miglets (also spelled Jozef Miglecz)was born in Hungary (probable Luka, Zemplenon, Hungary) 15 February 1884, and he immigrated around 1906.
His father's name was John.

His first wife Elizabeth Capitan (spelling?) immigrated around 1913, with their probable marriage in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
Joseph's World War I draft card was completed in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

They were in Lorain, Ohio by 1923, appearing in only the 1930 Federal census as a family.

Elisabeth Miglecz died in 1933, and is also buried in
Elmwood.

Their first 3 children were born in Pennsylvania.
The 4 children were
Michael Joseph (1914), Elsie Drozdrowski (1916), Grace (Gizella) Jacobs (1918), and Joseph John C. Miglets (1920).

In about 1936, widower Joseph married widow Julia Szalay (nee Mirka), also an immigrant from
Hungary. Her 2 previous deceased husbands were Joseph Szabo died 1917 and Frank Szalay died 1934, both in Lorain. She had 2 adult children: Joseph Szabo and Mrs. Julia (Szabo) Polansky.

A 1937 Lorain City Directory lists John & Julia Miglets residing at 1521 E 31st Court, with John's occupation listed as Oiler.

On 14 Feb 1940, Jozef John Miglets died of labored pnemonia and cirrhosis of the liver. He had worked the blas furnace at the National Tube Company for 17 years. He owned his home at 1521 31st Court in Lorain, where his widow,
Julia Miglets (nee Mirka), was recorded in the 1940 Census with Jozef's youngest son Joseph C, age 20. Julia executed her husband's will in Lorain #ES20639,
and her son Joseph Szabo was appointed ward of the youngest step-son.

Julia Miglets remarried widower George Katonak in 1941, and died herself in Auguest 1946.

Joseph John Miglets was buried in ElmwoodCemetery, as were both wives Elizabeth and Julia, and 2 of the 4 children.
