SHERMAN JR., Carl L., 67, of Tampa died July 19, 2011. Carl served as a volunteer firefighter and worked in the pest control industry for many years. In Carl's spare time he enjoyed being a shade-tree mechanic. Carl leaves behind his wife, Lynette; children, Carla, Frank, Kim, Christy, Chris, Jeff and Chad; his mother, Wenona; brother, Ronnie and 11 grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be conducted 4 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Adams & Jennings Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time. The family also requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to LifePath Hospice in Carl's memory.
