Mrs.Ida Smith,79, of Salem passed away Thursday at Yaw Nursing home in Odin. Services were held Sunday at Linton funeral home in Kinmundy with Rev. Forrest Crouch officiating. Burial was in Allmon cemetery.
She leaves two daughters Mrs. Mamie Baker of Salem, Mrs. Maggie Yeck of Peoria, six sons, Clarence of Salem, Lawrence of Chicago,Walter,Howard,Amyel and Perry of Alma; and two brothers, Edward Hurley of Phoenix, AZ. and John Hurley of Corpus Christi, TX.
Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Marion County for 58 years.
