MRS. RUTH R. MEYER DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME
Mrs. Ruth[Rice]Meyer, 51, wife of Charles Lewis Meyer, 341 Highland Park Drive, died suddenly at 6:35 p.m. Sunday in her home. Mrs Meyer had apparently been as well as usual and was sitting at the dining room table when she was suddenly stricken. Death was found, by Coroner Charles Keifer due to coronary occlusion.
Services will be held at 1p.m. Wednesday in the Irvin Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Zundel of the First Baptist Church officiate and burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
She was educated in the Troy Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors, are her husband, four daughters Mrs. Amelia[Phillip]Fogle, Mrs. Anita[John]Sharits, Mrs. Irene[John]Ganger of Troy, Ohio, and Marie at home, and three sons, Donald Rice, Milford Murphy, of Troy, Victor Lewis at home. A sister Mrs. Anna Frantom, and seven grandchildren also survive.
She is preceded in death by four infant sons, Fred Washington born 12~6~1918 died 7~1~1919, Charles Edward born 4~28~1922 died 9~22~1922 and Charles Lewis[Tommy] born 12~27~1933 died 5~?~1934 infant son[no name] born 10~23~1939 died 10~23~1939 he is interred with his grandfather Henry Washington Meyers, and one infant daughter Shirley Annis born 8~9~1931 died 8~9~1932.
