Margaret E. Stech, 82
Margaret E. Stech, 82, formerly of Warren, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Memorial Home at Warren.
Mrs. Stech had been a lab technician in Orlando, Fla., where she had resided for 30 years.
She was a past president of the Orange County, Fla., Girl Scouts Council, member of the Sorosis Club of Orlando and engaged in various other community activities there. She was a member of Tri Kappa and the Chatauqua Club at Warren.
She was a 1937 graduate of Warren High School and a 1939 graduate of Gradwohl Institute of St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Stech was born at Warren July 14, 1919 to Merritt W. and Helen Irene Bonifield Tam. Her marriage at Warren on Oct. 10, 1941 was to Harmon G. Stech, who survives.
Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Tamara) Smith of Stowe, Vt., and Mrs. Al (Sara) Way of East Lansing, Mich.; a brother, Roger L. Tam of Elwood; two sisters, Mary Emma Huffman of Warren and Mrs. R.F. (Barbara) Krzmarzick of Vista, Calif.; and four grandchildren. A brother is deceased.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, at Warren, with Rev. Mike Beall officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.
Calling hours at the funeral chapel will be Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
