Rex Nephi Jensen was born in Kimball, Alberta, Canada on March 31, 1915. He died in Jackson, California because of heart failure. He was in building construction and helped build bridges and buildings around the town of Sacramento, Calif. He had his own construction company named Jensen Construction Company which he ran until he retired and turned it over to his son, Rex Nephi Jensen, Jr. He built homes, a few schools, and the Agriculture Inspection Station at Truckee, California.
He was a very hard worker and always got up early. He loved the great outdoors and built a cabin at Silver Lake, Calif. He loved to fish and play golf.
He had the "Jensen" trait of being a big tease which the kids loved. He was also very generous.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family dearly.
He was the son of Alma Nephi Jensen and Katie Viola Sherwood.
He married Norma G. Stewart on Feb. 29, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They divorced after many years of marriage. She passed away 8 Sep 1997
