After completing high school, Everett joined the United States Marines and served until his honorable discharge April 9, 1963.
Everett returned to Ketchum, Idaho where he worked as a mechanic working on buses, eventually moving into management until his retirement.
He was very involved in the lives of his nieces, Julee, Johni and Denni, attending the weddings of each one and giving away Julie at her wedding.
In 2004, his sister, Jeannie decided to move to Harper to be near her brother, Cecil, and a year later, Everett decided to move here also.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Cecil, who passed away December 4, 2008.
He will be missed by his sisters, Jeannie Bell of Harper and Leata Thom of Washington; eight nieces and nephews and many friends.
