Mrs. Margaret Louise Shigley Crowe, age 100, of Rome, GA, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Crowe was born May 5, 1915, in Mentone, AL, daughter of the late Henry Frank and Rebecca Melissa Keith Shigley. She was a member of the Pennville Alliance Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed as a teacher with the Chattooga County School System. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Washington Crowe; a daughter, Wanda Crowe; 2 brothers; 9 sisters; and a granddaughter, Shannon Michelle Waters.

Mrs. Crowe is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Crowe; daughters and sons-in-law, Evangeline and Bob Gober, Charlotte and Bob Chambers, Marie and Jack Noah; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Crowe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Gober and Rev. Stephen Gober officiating. Interment will follow in the Pennville Alliance Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Mrs. Crowe will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Pennville Alliance Church, 50 Greenhill Memorial Garden Road, Summerville, GA 30747.
