Her name is given as Ivana on her death certificate but spelled Ivka on her gravestone. She was the daughter of Frank Bolf (1874-1950) and Rozalia nee Mihelchich (1878-1929), who married in Calumet on August 18, 1897. Both parents were immigrants from Croatia (Frank was from Lokve). In addition to Ivka, and two children who died before 1900, the children in the family included Rose (1901-2001), Lula (1908-), Frank (1910-2000), Rocky (1912-1966), Frances (1914-), and John (1917-2000). Ivka's mother Rozalia died in 1929 and her father Frank in 1950.
