Cyrus Ely (Joe) Warden, Jr of Satellite Beach, FL died peacefully at home. He was the son of Dr Cyrus Ely and Harriet Steele Warden. Cy graduated from Forest Hills High in Queens, was a U.S. Navy veteran who served as a radio repairman on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier and received an associate degree in Mathematics from Brevard Engineering College, now known as Florida Institute of Technology. He was a member of the Satellite Beach United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by his brother, Harry Thomas Warden, surviving are his wife, Janelle Walker Warden; sons, Carter (Melanie) and Graham (Sayaka); grandchildren, Caleb, Maddie, Jack, Lisa, Liko and Jess; brother, Dr William Steele (Ann) Warden. Cy and Janelle had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December. Cy is donating his body to the University of Central Florida Medical School. Memorial service will come at a later date.
