Thomas Chapman Langston was the son of Willis Barton Langston and Mary Margaret C. Hammond. He was born on 5/15/1883 in Palestine, Texas. He married Lenora Catherine
Spencer in 1902.They had Willie Mildred Langston in 1906
(she is my grandmother). They also had 3 boys. Uncle Jack, Uncle Orvan and Uncle Dalton. He and his family lived in Garrett, Oklahoma for a long time. Then they moved to Winslow, Arizona, where he became a marshall. I remember him being a really tall man with white hair. He was also very good looking and very nice. In 1936 him and Grandma Lou took in my mother , my aunt and my uncle because Willie got sick and died.Such a sad story to out live your only daughter.I am told by my aunt that he did not like cars so he walked everywhere.
He died in 1959 at the age of 75.
