Ella was the daughter of George W. Bloomfield and his first wife Hagar (Nunn) Bloomfield. Ella was born in England. Her mother died and her father second married and they immigrated to Philadelphia, PA in about 1871. His wife and two young children died soon after they arrived. Ella immigrated in 1886. Ella was first married to Elmer E. Neild who worked for his father in a Dining Saloon. They divorced in 1890 and Ella second married in 1890 James MacGauhey (#26778122). They had two daughters, who died young, Mary born 6 Jul 1892 and died 12 Jul 1892 (#26778018) and Ella Bloomfield MacGauhey in Dec 1893 who died in 9 Mar 1894 (#26778070) and two sons, George Bloomfield MacGauhey 24 Jul 1895 and Harry Bloomfield MacGauhey 1898. Ella's husband, James, died 30 Dec 1897, before Harry was born. In 1901 Ella married William Lumpp. William was a fireman in Phila. In 1917 her son, George, registered for the draft and worked for the Penn R. R. and her son, Harry, lived in Phila and was a clerk. In 1920 George a foreman for the railroad and Harry a secretary for the public schools lived in Phila. In 1930 George was married to Dorothy Schurch and lived in Stathmere, NJ and still worked for the railroad. In 1940 Ella and Harry were living in Phila she was 77 and he was in real estate. In 1945 Harry was a Notary in Stathmere, NJ. She later lived in Strathmere, NJ. George and his wife divorced in Dade Co., Fl. Ella died at 93 years old according to the records from Ocean View, Cape May Co., NJ, Calvary Baptist Church
