As a girl, Mrs. Studebaker watched the torchlight parade welcoming Benjamin Harrison after his election to the presidency in 1888. She also watched the erection of a high board fence that was to become the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in downtown Indianapolis.

Mrs. Studebaker was a charter member of the Indianapolis Senior Citizens Club and, until two years ago, was an energetic walker. Surviving is her daughter, Miss Mary E. Studebaker, with whom she has lived the last 25 years. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Ellis Mortuary of Kokomo."
