Son of Raymond Douglas and Bertha Mae "Howell" Parrish, Husband of Karen (Kay) "Vandiver" Parrish, Father of Darrell Douglas Parrish and Kimberly Mae "Parrish" Tummins. He was the grandfather of Justin Douglas Parrish, Cody & Kelsy Tummins. Odell loved building cars and drag racing. He loved to smile and enjoyed making others smile. He was an auto mechanic for Seaton Ford in Chester County.

FINGER - Odell Parrish, 51, mechanic with Dwain Seaton Ford Dealership in Henderson, died Sunday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a heart attack. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson with burial in Chester County Memory Gardens. He was a member of Henderson Elks Lodge. Mr. Parrish, the husband of Karen Delois Vandiver Parrish, also leaves a daughter, Kim Tummins of Henderson; three sisters, Bonnie Smith of Henderson, Brenda Atkinson of Centerville and Barbara Rodgers of Nashville; a brother, Joe Dell Parrish of Henderson, and two grandchildren.
