Born May 18, 1921, she was the daughter of Haskell and Senie Sineath.
Alma was a retired bookkeeper from Carolina Children's Home in Columbia.
She was the widow of Thomas Jefferson Malphrus and surviving are her step-sons, Thomas J. Malphrus, Jr. of Basking Ridge, NJ and Page Malphrus of Springfield, SC; three step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Great Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Ridgeland.
