Elmer Jewel Green 46, died Sunday, April 26, at 7:09 am, in Collingsworth General Hospital after a short illness of a few hours. Mr Green, was born February 22, 1941 at Council Hill, Oklahoma. The son of Maggie McCauley Green and the late Richard Green. Mr Green was a pipelineman Operator for Long Star Gas and a longtime employee of the Company. He was married to Rita Irene Moody November 23, 1965 in Wellington. He was a member of the Wellington Volunteer Fire Department and Donley County Reserves. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Green of Wellington, his mother, Maggie Green of Wellington, 6 brothers, John, Jim, Calvin and Dale Green all of Wellington, Melvin Green of Wheeler, Lonnie Green of Groom, two sisters, Inaudible Henley of Indiana, Oklahoma, and Clarice of Albuquerque, N.M.
