Mrs. Lessie Collins Crumley, 97, of Hawkinsville, Georgia stepped into heaven on Sunday morning, February 13, 2011.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2p.m. in the Broad Street Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Phil Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was a native of Wilcox County and she was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school and attended the Grace Sunday School Class. She did floral work at the Forget Me Not Florist in Warner Robins, Georgia and Cordele, Georgia. She volunteered at the Pineview Healthcare Center until she was 87 years old.

She loved playing the piano until her death. Mrs. Crumley was preceded in death by her husband Hoke S. Crumley and sons, Loran P. Crumley and Jimmy Crumley.

Survivors include daughters-in-law, Joyce Crumley of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Eve Crumley Poole (Bob) of Mabelton, Ga. Five Grandchildren, Penny Anderson of Macon, Ga., Paul Crumley of Woodstock, Ga., Dawn Crumley Besancenéz of St. Louis, Missouri and Chris Crumley of Dallas, Georgia. Mrs. Crumley also had 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
